These stylish and classic silver plated goblets, made in Spain by Beyca, feature twisting columns of grapevines as a stem with generously wide champagne coupe tops. Perhaps they should be more accurately described as chalices, as they certainly have that magical quality that will transform your tablescape into a mystical old Spanish wonderland.
Similar champagne coupes were used in Sharon Tate and Roman Polanski's wedding and were auctioned off as part of their estate. Additionally, this pattern appears to be somewhat ubiquitous as similar goblets were manufactured by Alfonso Lara, J. Perez Ruiz, Roma Spain, F.B. Rogers, Cortasa, and Valero (Falstaff pattern). The Beyca brand seems to be relatively uncommon, but the good news is that it should be a bit easier to complete a matching set of different types of glasses but similar patterns with these other brands available.
DIMENSIONS: 4.25ʺW × 4.25ʺD × 5.38ʺH
As the removal of tarnished natural aged patina on silver is irreversible, these goblets have been left in their original time-worn patina so that it is up to the purchaser to polish if they decide to do so. One goblet is slightly taller than the others, but certainly will not be noticeable once your table is set with them.
