Gritty, masculine, heavy vintage industrial cabinet from Automatic Electric Company out of Chicago Illinois is the perfect interesting piece to add some serious character to your warehouse loft. It's got a couple of layers of different silver and gray paint, and a lot of great scars that all tell a riveting story of where this piece has been. The mechanisms by which the compartments open, the curvaceous latch handles, and the interspersed holes in the side all together make this a fascinating case piece that's sure to look amazing in your space.
The doors come all the way out, and go back in by slotting into the bottom, closing all the way, and having the latch turned perpendicular to the ground. The cabinet came to me without its original back legs, so I have some new ones on order as we speak and will be installing them once they arrive. It has been scrubbed hard with soap and degreaser, and given a coat or two of clear poly topcoat in order to arrest further oxidation and thus prevent degradation of the metal, and to ensure your compartments are nice, clean and ready to store your prized possessions in.
